Rise and Fall Route, April 2012

Do you hear the drum roll ??
It’s time again for our annual history trip, hoo-ha

In the first week of April in 2012 we’ll ride again.

Well take the road to Munich for a visit of the beautiful Deutsches Museum.
Here well hope to see some of the rockets V1 Fieseler F103 and the V2 and oooh and aah over the Me262 & Me163.

The same day push on for Berchtesgaden, our first restingplace.
The next day we’ll visit the Museum on the Obersalzberg, and climb the roads to the Kehlsteinhaus.
There is not much left of the Eagle nest so we want to see the underground tunnels.
Tourism hasn’t started up in April. We expect it must be lonesome on the mountain, outside the tourist season wa cant enter the Teahouse, but the climb must be awesome.

In the evening we hit the road travelling to Nurnberg for our second night in a hotel.
On the third day the Nazi rally grounds are on the menu, the Zeppelinfield, the Congrescentre, the big street and a visit to the famous Nurnberg courtroom.

This night well ride on to Koblenz for some unfinished business.
Last year we were kicked out of the museum, our time was up.
It was on the way out we discovered the 2 other stories of the museum !!
We start at the top of the museum this time :-)

Pascal's lovely partner asked me;
Last year you created a very tight schedule, Pascal came home totally exhausted.
He was all grumpy the days after the tour, and it took him a good week to get his strength back. (not used to exercise eh).
Is your planning better this year? She begged me to come home with some energy left this time?

Naturally I had to comfort her.

I told her, last year we had the idea that our plan was secure and easy to achieve.
We missed it totally to be honest.
This year, I ensured her, our plan is very very different.

With all the knowledge we gathered in our last 3 trips I can say, with the uttermost sincerity, that there is no way we can keep up with this years schedule :-)

Here is our travel information, 2000km in 4 days with museum visits, mountain climbing and sightseeing ......  easy as pie :-)

Rise and Fall? Of who Panz? No wait, I can guess.. Is this really this years schedule?! It's a good thing we don't organize commercial tours...
